About me....

After spending nearly 20 years in a career as a computer systems analyst, I "retired" from that life to pursue an interest in antiques.  Fabulous Finds grew out of that interest, and I have been selling antique and vintage furniture since 2004.  Antique and vintage furniture tends to be smaller in scale than a lot of modern furniture.  It is wonderfully suited to the smaller spaces that are found in apartments, condo's, and townhomes.  As a result, my customers tend to be young professionals who are furnishing their first place.  Many are unsure about how to pull a room together to create a warm and inviting space that both welcomes friends , and nutures them in their alone moments.  I've always been passionate about beautiful interior spaces, and there is nothing I love more than helping people create rooms that feel like "home", reflecting their individual personalities.  I will graduate with a degree in interior design in May 2012. I offer interior design consulting as a secondary focus of Fabulous Finds.  This service focuses on people with a tight budget and small spaces.  If you'd like more information about this service, please send me a note via the "contact" link at the left.

 I live in Vienna, Virginia with my husband on a beautiful property that once played an important role in the Civil War.  Our house was built in 1888, and is both an on-going project and labor of love. We have four wonderful children - the older two are away at college, and the younger two are still at home.                                   ~ Sharon
